Biography:

Alisa Adhikari is a pre-med trainee and recent graduate of Duke University with a double major in neuroscience and global health. With a profound interest in unraveling health disparities, she focuses on understanding the underlying causes and implications. Currently serving as a Clinical Research Specialist in the Neurocognitive Disorders Program at Duke University School of Medicine's Department of Psychiatry, she actively contributes to advancing knowledge in this field. Her research endeavors center around assessing the efficacy of the Environmental Justice Index in gauging health inequity and its correlation with the progression of Alzheimer’s Disease and Mild Cognitive Impairment. Through her academic journey and professional roles, she remains dedicated to bridging gaps in healthcare accessibility and promoting equitable solutions.
