Biography:
Dr. Arlette Perry completed her PhD at the age of 29 at New York University from New York City, NewYork in the United States. She is the Director of the Laboratory of Clinical and Applied Physiology at the University of Miami in Miami, Florida. She is the author of eight book chapters and position statements, 53 manuscripts, 113 abstracts, 27 grants, and has been guest editor of several premier journals. In 2010, her translational health in nutrition and kinesiology program was voted one of the most innovative new programs in the United States.
