Biography:
Dr. Jaap Boehmer DMD studied Dentistry 6 years at Utrecht University ,Netherlands from1958 till 1964 . After Military service as a dentist officer at the Royal Air force of the Netherlands, he worked in School dental help , also in Handicapped dentistry, and 38 years in Hospital Rijnstate Arnhem at the Department of special dentistry, where he treated many Children with rampant caries under general anesthesia. Around 1970 he was 6 years in the board of the Dutch Dental Association .He was involved with the first Dental hygienist introduction in the Netherlands , important for the Dental prevention.He done publication about "Waiting times for treatment under General anesthesia ".He worked in the Community of Public Health of the liberal Party, to start Dental prevention at baby time in the social help offices.
