Biography:
Alice Mirailler, is a second-year PhD student in the Laboratory of Contact Mechanics and Structures at INSA Lyon in France. She completed a master's degree in Atmospheric Physics. Her PhD is a multidisciplinary project combining physics, mechanics, and biology. The objective is to physically and chemically characterize non-exhaust particles emitted by vehicles, understand their emission dynamics, and assess their toxicity on the respiratory system. With her advisor, she is developing a system to collect particles directly in a biological medium or biomimetic surfactant.
