Biography:
Dr. Mishra is a Postdoctoral fellow at Dr. Melancon’s Lab at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. She completed her master’s in biotechnology in 2009 from Banaras Hindu University, India. The same year, she joined Bhabha Atomic Research Centre as a Scientific Officer and completed her Ph.D. at Homi Bhabha National Institute, Mumbai, India in 2019. Her research expertise lies in nanomaterials, bio-hybrid materials, and hydrogels and exploring their applications in immobilization of bioactive molecules, drug delivery, imaging, cancer therapeutics, and biosensors. She has received various fellowships (CSIR-JRF-Fellowship 2008 and DBT-JRF Fellowship 2009) and other awards (B.H.U. Medal, 2009 and Ph.D. Best Thesis Award, 2020). She has more than 30 publications comprised of research & review articles in reputed journals, book chapters, tutorial publications, and newsletters
