Biography:
Emmanuel O. Fadipe is a researcher in livestock infectiology and molecular epidemiology with a focus on zoonotic pathogens affecting food safety and public health in West Africa. His work integrates field-based surveillance, laboratory diagnostics, and molecular characterization to understand disease ecology within poultry production systems. He has conducted multiple studies on Salmonella prevalence, genetic diversity, antimicrobial resistance, and farm-level risk factors, contributing to improved agricultural health policies and biosecurity practices. Emmanuel is affiliated with the Institute of Animal Sciences, University of Hohenheim, Germany, and collaborates widely with veterinary and public health institutions across Nigeria. His publications have appeared in reputable journals and his research supports evidence-based interventions for safer livestock production and reduced zoonotic transmission. He is passionate about advancing molecular diagnostic capacity and strengthening food safety systems in low- and middle-income countries.
