Biography:
Ezinne Etum Okereke, MBBS, MPH, is a medical doctor, public health professional, researcher, Founder and CEO of BioDiversify AI Ltd. Her work sits at the intersection of women’s health, health equity, epidemiology, clinical research, and responsible health technology.
With a background spanning clinical medicine, public health research, data analysis, and health systems, Ezinne is particularly interested in the parts of illness that healthcare often struggles to measure well: fatigue, cognitive burden, functional loss, unequal participation in everyday life, and the populations that remain underrepresented in research and health data.
Her academic work has included research into cervical cancer screening behavior among women in the UK, while her clinical training included experience across Obstetrics and gynecology, Internal Medicine, pediatrics, Surgery, and Public Health. She has also worked in clinical and public health research, supporting study design, evidence synthesis, data analysis, and translation of findings for multidisciplinary audiences.
As Founder and CEO of BioDiversify AI, Ezinne is developing privacy-first approaches to improving visibility of potentially eligible under-represented populations for clinical research while protecting patient data. Her broader professional focus is on how public health, better evidence, responsible AI, and more inclusive research systems can reduce health inequalities and improve whose experiences are recognized, measured, and represented in healthcare.
