Biography:

Wan Li, Ph.D., is a female research professor with a doctorate in Psychology from Virginia Tech. She serves as the founding Director of the Brain Disease and Neuromodulation Research Center, and as a Master’s Supervisor at Anhui Medical University and Wannan Medical College.

Her research focuses on non-pharmacological, non-invasive interventions for cognitive impairment and mental disorders, with particular emphasis on mood disorders, schizophrenia, and addiction. She employs multiple methodologies to investigate the cognitive, psychological, and neural mechanisms of mental illness, conducting both fundamental and clinical studies involving neuroimaging, EEG, fNIRS, brain-computer interfaces, transcranial electrical stimulation, and transcranial magnetic stimulation.

As a key researcher, she contributed to major projects funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of Defense, investigating the underlying etiology of PTSD from cellular to clinical levels. Since returning to China, she has participated in projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation and the National Defense Science and Technology Innovation Program, among others, and has led over 10 research projects at various levels.

She has published more than 60 research papers as first author and/or corresponding author, including over 30 SCI-indexed articles in journals such as *NPJ Digital Medicine*, *World Psychiatry*, *European Psychiatry*, and *General Psychiatry*. She also holds one authorized national invention patent.
