Dr. Masuram Bharath Kumar, PhD, is an accomplished Associate Professor of Medical Pharmacology with more than 12 years of experience in medical education, pharmacovigilance, clinical research, and academic administration. He has extensive expertise in undergraduate medical pharmacology education, curriculum implementation, student mentoring, rational drug use, and adverse drug reaction assessment.
His research interests include pharmacovigilance, drug safety, clinical research, real-world evidence, and healthcare data analytics. He has contributed to research and publications addressing drug-induced adverse events, clinical outcomes, adverse drug reactions, and experimental pharmacology. He also integrates data-science approaches, including Python, SPSS, SQL, and advanced Excel, into pharmacovigilance and healthcare analytics.
Dr. Kumar holds a PhD in Medical Pharmacology and an MSc in Medical Pharmacology from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal. He has completed professional training in medical education, biomedical research, data science, and healthcare-related areas, reflecting his multidisciplinary approach to contemporary pharmacology and medical education.
