Biography:
Olaniran Olarinde born 5th of January 1971 in Ibadan, Southwest Nigeria, married and blessed with a son. I had my primary, secondary and tertiary education in Southwestern part of the Nigeria. Academically, I had PhD in Applied Parasitology, MSc in Medical Microbiology and Parasitology, M.Tech in Medical Microbiology, MSc in Zoology (Parasitology option), BSc in Microbiology, Fellow in Medical Laboratory Sciences (Medical Microbiology), and Associate in Medical Laboratory Sciences (Medical Parasitology), HND in Biology / Microbiology and ND in Science Laboratory Technology.
I am an active member of the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria with Associate (AMLSCN) and Fellowship (FMLSCN) certificates in Medical Parasitology and Medical Microbiology respectively, and have accumulated more than two decades of research experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist at the Faculty of Basic Clinical Sciences, College of Health Sciences, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. In addition to my research accomplishments, which include over seventy (70) peer-reviewed publications. I have also contributed to academic training as a senior lecturer for the accreditation of Medical Laboratory Science Department at the Federal University of Health Sciences Ila-Orangun, Osun State, an associate lecturer at the Kwara State University, associate lecturer at the Universal College of Health Science and Technology, Ile-Ife, Nigeria and the Head of the Department of Medical Laboratory Technology, Foreign Link College of Education and School of Health Science and Technology, Ife North, Osun State.
