Dr. Priyanka Mishra

Biography:

Dr. Priyanka Mishra is an accomplished academic and practitioner with expertise in architecture, urban and regional planning, environmental planning, and environmental psychology. With over eight years of research and teaching experience, she has significantly contributed to advancing knowledge on sustainable urban development, peri-urban transformations, climate resilience, and water management. She has also worked extensively on flood vulnerability assessment, biodiversity decline, and livelihood resilience, aligning her work with global climate change adaptation and mitigation goals. Alongside her academic pursuits, Dr. Mishra integrates her knowledge of nutrition, holistic healing, and energy sciences into her research and practice, highlighting the deep interconnections between human well-being, environment, and sustainable living. She has published widely and presented at numerous national and international conferences. She has been appointed as a committee and scientific member for academic and professional forums, invited as a keynote speaker at conferences, and serves as a reviewer for reputed international journals. In addition, she is Advisor, College Programs on Clean Energy Policy and Engagements with The Climate Reality Project India, and an active member of the Council of Architecture, Institute of Town Planners India, Architects Welfare Committee, and the Indian Climate Congress. Dr. Mishra emphasizes the importance of integrating sustainable planning, community well- being, climate-responsive strategies, and holistic health approaches to create resilient and inclusive futures.
