Biography:
Rumbidzai Abigail Matindike is a PhD candidate in Geography at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa, where she also serves as a Teaching and Research Assistant. Her research focuses on climate change impacts, environmental management, renewable energy, and AI applications for environmental monitoring. She has published multiple papers on sustainable practices, bioenergy innovation, and community engagement in the Global South. Rumbidzai is also the Climate Change Coordinator at Climate Disasters International Foundation (CDIF) and a fellow of the Sino-Africa Green Finance Alliance (SAGFA 2025). She has presented at several international conferences and is passionate about translating research into practical solutions for sustainable development.
