Dr. Sarang Jeong

Biography:

Dr. Sarang Jeong is a Research Professor at the Korean Institute of Nutrition, Hallym University, specializing in public health, clinical nutrition, and nutritional epidemiology. She earned her Ph.D. in Food and Nutrition from Yonsei University, following her Master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition from Dongduk Women’s University and Bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition from Hallym University. Dr. Jeong’s research focuses on obesity, metabolic disorders, chronobiology, and the role of diet in chronic disease prevention. She has served as a principal investigator and collaborator on several cohort studies and clinical trials, including projects funded by the Korea National Institute of Health and the Sejong Science Fellowship. With professional experience at the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency and in clinical dietetics at leading hospitals, she brings both research and practical expertise. Dr. Jeong has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, contributing significantly to advancing knowledge in nutrition and public health.
